Sonoma, CA (April 26, 2025) – Silver Hare Racing continued its 2025 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series campaign at Sonoma Raceway with a strong showing and resilient performances in a race affected by weather and cautions.

Rafa Matos, piloting the No. 57 Concord American Flagpole/Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet Camaro, started second after qualifying was rained out and the grid was set based on practice times. Matos slipped back in the early stages but rallied during the long green-flag run to ultimately finish third, notching another podium finish for Silver Hare Racing.

“It was fun, it was difficult, just wished we would have had a full dry race,” Matos said. “I don’t know if I had anything for Brent Crews, but it was a good points day for us. Fantastic job by the SHR boys getting me and Noah fast cars this weekend. Huge thanks to Concord American Flagpole Company for everything they do. We’ll go to Laguna and try to make it happen there. Looking forward to it.”

Noah Harmon, in his third TA2 start behind the wheel of the No. 7 Streetside Classics/CUBE3/Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet Camaro, began seventh and climbed as high as fourth. After being hit from behind and falling back to ninth, the rookie showed impressive grit by racing his way back to a sixth-place finish, securing another top-10 result in his debut season.

“Great weekend overall,” Harmon said. “I was super excited about this weekend, learned a lot. Can’t thank Cube 3 enough for sponsoring us. Looking forward to the next one.”

The race was plagued by several caution periods, with the final 15 minutes running entirely under yellow due to oil on the track combined with rain. Officials ultimately ended the race when the timer expired, preventing a restart.

Silver Hare Racing now shifts its focus to the next round of the season at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Saturday, May 3rd.
