(High Point, NC) Circuit of the Americas, located in Austin, TX, recently played host to the Formula 1 world championship. This coming weekend, it marks the final stop on the 2021 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli schedule. The Silver Hare Racing team has traveled to eleven circuits around the country, from coast to coast, contending for race wins and a championship. While the team has notched a few podium finishes along the way, a win has eluded them in 2021. With one race left this season, Silver Hare Racing returns to the site of their breakthrough TA2 win in 2020.
“This season has been a transitional year for Silver Hare Racing”, said team owner Laura Hull. “Maurice (Hull) and I are thankful for the hard work the entire team has put forth. Without it, we would not be going into the final race of the season at COTA with Tyler still having a shot to finish top-five in points, Maurice top-fifteen, and Self a top-twenty despite his limited schedule. Maurice has had a good year and will bring home a 2nd place finish in the Master’s Division. At COTA, our team will be focused on getting back on the podium to repeat Maurice’s Master’s win there last year and having both Tyler and Selfie be contending for the overall win.”
This weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, Silver Hare Racing will be fielding entries for Tyler Kicera (no.5 Silver Hare Racing Ford Mustang), Michael Self (no.7 Sinclair Oil, Silver Hare Racing Chevy Camaro) and Maurice Hull (no.57 Planet Cowboy, Silver Hare Racing Chevy Camaro). Keep up with all of the action by following Silver Hare Racing on social media and on the Trans Am app.
