Magnus Performance Products and Joes Racing Products join Silver Hare Racing
Rafa Matos and Maurice Hull geared up for the final Trans Am by Pirelli event of the season from Road Atlanta with extra support from Magnus Performance and Joes Racing Products.
Coming off double wins from Circuit of the Americas, the Silver Hare family is excited to carry on the momentum at Road Atlanta and continue to stack more points for the 2020 titles. Leading in Masters and the Southern Cup Championship, owner / driver Maurice Hull looks set to bring home hardware to High Point.
To say Rafa Matos has had an interesting year would be an understatement. Losing the power steering pump with a 17 second lead at Mid-Ohio, having a win taken away at Road America due to red flag rules, and breaking an axle while leading at Virginia International Raceway (ViR)… and yet Rafa still sits p2 in points. With the final two races of the year in California cancelled, only Road Atlanta remains. With 70 points on offer in two races in Braselton, Rafa sits 47 points out of the lead – second in the TA2 Championship.
This weekend Silver Hare welcomes Joes Racing Products and Magnus Performance Products to the team. The decals on the cars may be new, but the reliable parts from Joes and Magnus have been on the cars all season. From racing seats to hubs – we wouldn’t be running at the front without Joes and Magnus.
From everyone at Silver Hare Racing, thank you to all the fans and families who allow us to continue this amazing sport. 2020 has been a wild year, we hope you join us for an even better 2021!
