(High Point, NC) Silver Hare Racing considers Virginia International Raceway, located in Alton, VA, a home race for the team, just a short ninety-minute drive from their High Point, NC shop. This historic circuit plays host to this weekend’s Trans Am Series race, which is also the penultimate round of the championship.
Three new sponsors will cover the Silver Hare Racing TA2 cars this weekend. Tyler Kicera will be carrying Davis Roofing Inc on his no.5 Ford Mustang. Team owner and driver, Maurice Hull, will be carrying Carter Bank & Trust on his no.57 Chevy Camaro. The no.7 Chevy Camaro, driven by Michael Self, will continue to carry Sinclair Oil, with Hanes Construction serving as a sponsor on all three cars.
“Silver Hare Racing is proud to carry the Davis Roofing, Carter Bank & Trust, Sinclair Oil liveries on our cars and to have Hanes Construction represented on all three cars at Virginia International Raceway,” said team co-owner Laura Hull. “The business-to-business opportunities offered to them with this exposure and through Trans AM are limitless. Not to mention, all three companies will be entertaining customers and employees in this very exciting setting.”
Tyler Kicera captured his first TA2 win at VIR in 2020 and looks to return to the top step of the podium this weekend after a runner-up finish at Watkins Glen. Maurice Hull captured the Masers Award in 2019 at VIR and Michael Self will be making his first start at the track. Stay up to date by following Silver Hare Racing across social media.
