HIGH POINT, N.C. (Jan. 21, 2025) – Silver Hare Racing is proud to welcome Noah Harmon to its driver lineup for the 2025 CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series. Harmon, an accomplished competitor in the Spec MX-5 and MX-5 Cup series, will drive part-time for Silver Hare Racing, marking his highly anticipated debut in the TransAm TA2 category.
Born in Canada, Harmon’s racing roots trace back to his childhood in Orlando, Florida, after being inspired by attending the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Beginning in karting and sports car racing, he has earned multiple wins and podium finishes. In 2024, Harmon secured a fourth-place finish in the Spec MX-5 championship standings, highlighted by victories at Watkins Glen International and Virginia International Raceway. His resume also boasts a strong showing in the MX-5 Cup, where he won the 2024 Mazda Scholarship Shootout, finished in the top ten multiple times, including a fifth-place finish at Daytona and a fourth-place finish at Road Atlanta.
“It’s an incredible honor to make my TA2 debut with Silver Hare Racing,” Harmon said. “This team has built a reputation for fielding amazing equipment and fast race cars, and being trusted to drive for them is a privilege I don’t take lightly. They’ve worked with some outstanding drivers in recent years, and to now have my name added to that list is truly humbling. I’m excited for the opportunity and ready to give it everything I’ve got.”
Adding to the significance of his debut, Harmon will have the opportunity to work alongside Rafa Matos, the winningest driver in TA2 history and a multi-time series champion, who returns to Silver Hare Racing in 2025 as both a driver and instructor.
“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to work with Rafa,” Harmon said. “His wealth of experience and success in the sport is incredible, and being able to learn from a multi-time champion in my very first race is an absolute honor. I’m excited to soak up as much knowledge as I can and make the most of this invaluable experience.”
Laura Hull, co-owner of Silver Hare Racing, expressed her enthusiasm about Harmon joining the team:
“We are thrilled to welcome Noah Harmon to the Silver Hare Racing family. His impressive performance in other motorsports showcases his talent and determination. We believe he has tremendous potential, and having Rafa Matos as a mentor will provide him with the tools he needs to succeed. Our focus has always been on developing the next generation of drivers, and Noah is a perfect fit for that vision.”
A freshman at the University of Central Florida, Harmon will be joined by Streetside Classics, the nation’s number one classic car dealer.
