Sebring, FL (February 24, 2025) – Silver Hare Racing kicked off the 2025 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series season at Sebring International Raceway with a mix of challenges and strong performances.

Rafa Matos, driving the No. 57 Concord American Flagpole/Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet Camaro, started third and quickly moved into second after battling Mike Skeen in the early laps. Unfortunately, Skeen sent Matos off track and into the tire barriers, dropping him to the rear. Matos fought back through the field to finish 11th.

“Not the result we wanted, but considering the circumstances, we salvaged what we could,” Matos said. “It’s a long season, and we’ll keep pushing.”

Noah Harmon, making his TA2 debut in the No. 7 Streetside Classics/Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet Camaro, started ninth and ran a clean race in a caution-filled event. He avoided trouble and finished fifth in his first start in the series.

“Happy with the P5 finish,” Harmon said. “I learned a lot and stayed out of trouble, which was key today. Big thanks to Laura, Maurice, and everyone at SHR for their support this weekend.”

Silver Hare Racing now turns its focus to Road Atlanta on March 22, looking to build on the season opener and continue improving.
