SEBRING, FL (March 1, 2026) – Silver Hare Racing opened the 2026 season in impressive fashion at Sebring International Raceway, showcasing speed, resilience, and race-day grit in Round 1 of the Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series presented by DEWALT and MAC Tools.
From the first green flag of the weekend, it was clear the team unloaded with pace.
Noah Harmon set the tone early, leading the opening practice session and remaining at or near the top of the charts throughout the weekend in his No. 7 CUBE 3 Architecture Chevrolet. Harmon ultimately finished second in final practice, firmly establishing himself as a contender heading into race day.
Teammate Tanner Reif made his TA2 debut in the No. 75 Power Gen Solutions Chevrolet and steadily improved each session, hovering around 10th and 11th in practice as he acclimated to the competitive TA2 field.
Qualifying was ultimately rained out, setting the starting lineup based on practice speeds. Harmon rolled off from the outside of the front row in second, while Reif lined up 11th for his series debut.
When the green flag dropped, Harmon settled into third at the front of the field, maintaining strong pace early. Behind him, Reif’s debut quickly became a test of adversity. After a stack-up on the opening lap, Reif sustained front-end damage that pushed the nose in and made the car difficult to handle. He was forced to pit early for repairs, sending him to the rear of the field.
Undeterred, Reif methodically worked his way back through traffic, gaining positions and valuable experience throughout the race. By the checkered flag, he had clawed his way back to 11th—an impressive recovery drive in his first TA2 start.
“Had a decent race. Made a little bit of mistakes at the start and it cost me a few positions,” Reif said. “But we had a great day and I learned a lot. I love this team — great people — and we’re going to have an amazing year.”
Harmon’s afternoon proved equally dramatic.
Following a mid-race restart, Harmon was turned by Alon Day entering Turn 1. In a remarkable save, he kept the car straight but was forced off course, dropping all the way back to 18th. What followed was one of the most determined drives of the day.
With a fast Chevrolet underneath him, Harmon avoided multiple incidents and steadily sliced his way through the field. Restart after restart, he capitalized on opportunities, eventually charging back into the top five before the final green flag. In the closing laps, Harmon executed decisive passes on Day, Ethan Tovo, and Adrian Wlostowski to secure the final podium position with a third-place finish.
“Was a bit of a hectic day. We had a fast race car, but contact in Turn 1 sent us to the back,” Harmon said. “We had a lot of cars to drive through and had a shot there at the end. It was a good points day considering everything, but I think we can get some more out of it for Road Atlanta.”
The comeback podium marks a strong start to the 2026 campaign for Silver Hare Racing and positions Harmon firmly in the championship hunt heading into Round 2.
The Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series now heads to Road Atlanta in two weeks for Round 2 of the championship. The race will take place Saturday, April 14, and will air live on Racing America.
