Ready for multi-car operation in TransAm TA2
For over a decade, Maurice Hull and Silver Hare Racing have been competing at the top level of professional road racing, including Grand-Am, Trans-Am, and The David Pearson Trophy series. Maurice and wife Laura developed a strong single-car team with a family atmosphere, creating a winning reputation.
The years of experience culminated in a phenomenal 2018, where Maurice and Silver Hare Racing earned 2nd place in the TA2 Masters Division, 3rd Place in the TA2 Southern Cup, and brought home the Mike Cope Hard Charger Award.
Throughout 2019 the team was approached from multiple drivers to expand Silver Hare into a multi-car team. Not only drawing attention from drivers, Silver Hare began attracting new business partners looking to utilize the Silver hare brand to grow their business through motorsports.
Looking to find a winning driver to put in the new #7 to pair with Maurice, the team is excited to announce Rafa Matos for the final event of 2019 at Daytona International Speedway.
Rafa brings a world of expertise behind the wheel, winning multiple championships on the Road to Indy, and IndyCar Rookie of the Year.
Stay tuned for some exciting news about the 2020 season.
