HIGH POINT, N.C. (April 29, 2026) – Silver Hare Racing navigated a weekend of adversity at Sonoma Raceway during Rounds 3 and 4 of the Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series, ultimately finding redemption on Sunday with a podium finish and a strong run from its newest driver.
The weekend began on a challenging note as the team worked to find pace in practice. Qualifying for Race 1 brought further difficulty when Noah Harmon suffered an issue that relegated him to 33rd on the starting grid. Undeterred, Harmon put together a determined charge through the field to salvage a 13th-place finish. Tanner Reif, starting in the mid-20s, also made forward progress throughout the race, climbing to 12th and finishing as the highest-placed Silver Hare Racing driver on Saturday.
Max Reaves, making his TA2 debut in the No. 57 CookOut Chevrolet, ran solidly in the top 20 before an off-track excursion left his grille covered in grass, forcing him to pit road and ending his day in 25th.
Harmon’s No. 7 also collected debris from a brief off-track moment, and with the grille compromised, the Silver Hare Racing crew made the call to perform an engine change overnight, working through the night to have the car ready for Sunday’s race.
The effort paid off.
With Race 2 starting positions set by Race 1 times, Harmon rolled off 10th, Reif lined up 11th, and Reaves started 15th. Harmon wasted little time working his way through the field and, following a late restart, made the decisive moves to secure a third-place podium finish for Silver Hare Racing.
Reaves continued to impress in just his second TA2 start, methodically working his way through the field to an eighth-place finish.
Reif ran inside the top 10 in the early going before a power steering issue ended his afternoon prematurely, relegating him to a 34th-place finish.
“What a turnaround,” Harmon said. “Saturday was tough and the guys worked their tails off overnight to give me a race car on Sunday. That’s what this team is made of. To come through the field and get on the podium after everything we dealt with this weekend means a lot. This one feels good.”
“It’s a tough pill to swallow when the pace is there and something mechanical takes you out,” Reif said. “I was feeling good early in that race and the car was right where I wanted it. We’ll regroup, and come back stronger at Lime Rock.”
“I learned so much this weekend,” Reaves said. “I fell back at first, but got it back together to get back up to 8th. Overall, a good race and I’m excited to get back to racing more with these guys.”
The Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series next heads to Lime Rock Park for Memorial Day weekend, May 21–23. Both races will be available live on Racing America and the Trans Am Series YouTube channel.
