“I knew I found a place I belonged – I found the passion for racing again…”

More than just new cars and new drivers for the 2020 season,
the Silver Hare family has expanded as well.
Joining the family from the ranks of NASCAR,
PJ Farmer takes on the lead role in the Silver Hare Fabrication shop.

Racing Is In The Blood!

The 28-year-old feels he “has found a great home” and as with the rest of the family, has racing in the blood.  With his mother going into labor at Tri-County Motor Speedway while dad was crew chief, it is no surprise by 16 PJ was crew chief in the ISCARS Dash Series.    Spending many years alongside his father building race cars at Twisted Fabrications, PJ honed his fabrication skills building NASCAR modified cars for legendary drivers Frank Fleming, Tim Brown, Junior Miller, and many others.  Moving back into crew chief duties in 2014, PJ earned Chris Fleming his first pole at Bowman Gray Stadium, and went on to win 3 races throughout the season.

As many people discover, the ultimate stage can pull you away from the original passion, and PJ is no different.
Following multiple years at the top levels of NASCAR –he then found he was “missing the passion and dedication I found in the grass roots of the sport.”

Following a few months away from motorsports PJ has found a place to call home.  “From the moment I started working here, I knew I found a place I belonged.  I found the passion for racing again and the dedication of my coworkers pushes me to do more.”   Echoing the sentiment throughout the family, PJ is extremely thankful for the opportunity from Maurice and Laura Hull and is ready to “chase after wins and championships.”
